WELCOME to one of the most acclaimed places on the Internet to save money on airline tickets. |
|
You are looking at the free side of our site. Here we present a sampling of the kinds of information our subscribers can access each business day. Subscriptions are $10/month, which includes access to our extraordinary rerservation system that puts a virtual travel agency in your computer. Finding just one low fare that saves you hundreds of dollars can pay back that cost and still leave many dollars in your pocket. If you like our site and want to sign up, click here to signup or go to any fare page and click on the notice panel near the top. |
Unlike "Internet Only" fares, these are regularly published airfares available from any travel agent or airline ticket counter. Not only will you find the lowest fares published each business day among the top 40 metro areas in the U.S. and Canada, but you'll also find a lot more: |
AIRFARE GOOFS: With hundreds of thousands of new fares coming into the airline systems each day, mistakes are bound to happen. Sometimes it is as simple as dropping the last digit off a fare (as when American posted a First Class roundtrip fare between Southern California (Orange County) and Cincinnati for $200 instead of $2,000). Sometimes its a low fare meant for night flights -- but allowing it for daytime travel as well. On Feb. 2 United goofed bigtime by posting $0 (that's zero) fares between Denver and New York, Washington, Chicago, Atlanta Baltimore and Dallas, etc. After adding assorted taxes and fees you could have traveled round trip for about $16 -- if you had exploited it early. The mistake was withdrawn within 6 hours. |
UNPUBLICIZED FARE CUTS: Airlines closely monitor each other's fares and are quick to react anytime another airline introduces a low fare to poach on its "cash cow" routes. The usual technique is to plop a low fare into the middle of a "cash cow" route of the offending airline. Delta, United and Continental slugged it out on the Honolulu routes out of Dallas, Denver and Salt Lake City with fares as low as $168 round trip. Sometimes it is an introductory fare, or a fare intended to "test" a particular market. In some cases we have seen limited-time fares (e.g. East Coast fares around $212 roundtrip to Hawaii for Pearl Harbor Day or fares around Mardi Gras, the Boston Marathon, etc.). And, frankly, there are fare cuts lasting just a short time for which there are no descernable reasons. |
Hundreds of other examples are all over the place for regular fares like these. Some of these fares are here for a day or two, a few for a day or less. We catch them and list them so you can use them along with the other lowest benchmark fares in up to eight categories. |
These demonstration pages provide a sampling of what you can find on our subscriber pages. The air fares you find here were first posted a few days ago and included over 142 major air fare cuts across the U.S. and Canada. While many of these fares still exist, others have since been withdrawn. Use these pages to explore the way our site is put together, get to know the kinds of information on our fare pages and link to other important travel sites. |
In particular, check out the Worldspan Reservation capability (through our RESERVATION CENTER link above). |
